Our Products

Are your products officially licensed?

Yes, all of the licensed products that we sell are obtained directly from the suppliers that hold the UK licenses to manufacture them.

Curtains

All curtains come as a pair

What is the Curtain length and width?

Each curtain measures 66" width x either 54" or 72" length. Unless stated otherwise

Are your curtains lined?

No, unless otherwise stated in the product description the curtains that we sell are not lined.

Are your curtains tab top, eyelet or pencil pleat?

Unless otherwise stated in the product description our curtains are pencil pleat style for use on a curtain rail with curtain hooks.

Do you make curtains to measure?

No we do not. We obtain our curtains ready made directly from the manufacturer.

Do your curtains come with tie-backs?

Unless stated the curtains do not come with tie-backs as the suppliers do not make them. We cannot supply tie-backs or material to make them.

Bedding

Our bedding comes in either toddler, single or double and includes pillowcases. One pillowcase with a toddler and single duvet and two pillowcases with a double

Toddler Beds and bedding

What size mattress is needed for a toddler/ junior bed?

A cot bed mattress is needed to fit a toddler bed. These measure 70cm x 140cm and fit all the toddler/ junior beds we sell.

Do the beds come ready made?

No all of our beds require assembly and full instructions are included.

What sizes are the toddler bedding and pillowcases?

The size of the toddler bedding is 120cm x 150cm. The size of the toddler pillowcase is 62cm x 42cm which is smaller than a standard single size pillowcase. We sell both duvet inserts and pillows to fit the toddler/ junior bedding.

All our lamps are made for UK mains electrics.

Stickers

How to stick our stickers

The advice from the manufacturers of all our stickers is that they cannot be put straight onto freshly painted walls and it is recommend waiting at least 4 weeks before applying the stickers.

Ordering From Children's Rooms

How do I order more than one of a particular item?

In the shopping basket change the quantity to the required amount and click on the 'Recalculate' button.

Do you accept cheques?

No, it is company policy to only accept payment by credit/debit card. In exceptional circumstances we will accept payment by postal orders. Please contact us if you wish to pay by postal orders.

When do you take payment from my card?

When you place an order a pre-authorisation is placed on your card. The funds are only taken from the card when we perform the post-authorisation on despatch of your order.

Pre-order items

What is a pre-order?

This is where we do not have stock of an item but know the date it is coming in and if it is a popular range we put it on pre-order so that you can guarantee you can get the item as popular ranges do sell out quickly. The date we give is the date advised by the supplier and this could be subject to change.

Do I pay now or when it comes in?

We take payment when you place the order so that the order is guaranteed.

What if I order a pre-order item and an normal item, when will I receive them?

Unless you specific to us we will send all you items out together when the pre-order item/s come in.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes just contact us by email info@childrens-rooms.co.uk or phone 01642 440110 and we can cancel the order and issue a full refund. If you want to cancel after the order has been shipped this will need to be done in the normal way. Please see our returns policy for this information.

What if I pay for express service?

As the item is not in stock we cannot send on an express service so we will contact you and refund the difference you have paid for the express service.
